Werewolves Of Bucks County

Earlier today a young lady approached me, campaigning for Republican candidates in Bucks County, PA. She asked me if I liked the way things are in Bucks County. An unequivocal “no” was my answer.

The Republicans have something to offer over the arbitrary elitists in the county. Take the Democrats’ Davis Gang (Jim and State Representative Tina Davis), who pocketed, stole $33,000 from housing assistance designated to help their low-income (poor) tenants from a house they both rented.  The state rep wasn’t even charged, and her partner in crime was just ordered to pay the money back!  http://levittownnow.com/2018/09/28/state-representatives-husband-has-charges-dropped-repays-government/

This is from a party that laments that poor people are being disenfranchised by those whaskilly Republicans, and claim they have the back of these victims. Well, it’s clear that the Davis Gang victimized their tenants.

Another example of helping the less fortunate, not, is the Bucks elitists banning the annual Stand Down for homeless and needy veterans. They gave no reason why Stand Down, which was held for three days each year, could not be held on the current site behind the Levittown library, on open space, where there is no conflict with anything else. http://levittownnow.com/2016/09/10/program-helps-veterans-need-kicks-off-last-year-current-site/

Private citizens who wish to provide housing for the homeless are stonewalled when they attempt to create a project to shelter the homeless. The latest is an affordable housing project where affordable apartments would wrap around the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.  http://levittownnow.com/2019/06/24/58-unit-affordable-housing-project-proposed-for-2-7-acre-levittown-property/  In 2017, the non-profit Interfaith Housing proposed creating housing to help poor veterans and older folks, but the plan was shot down.

There is an alternative to the Werewolves of Bucks County. Remember, if you hear them howling around your door, you better not vote them in. Some poor tenants got their funds ripped off that night. It was the Werewolves of Bucks County again!  Note, these lines are a parody of the song Werewolves of London. http://www.metrolyrics.com/werewolves-of-london-lyrics-warren-zevon.html

Reports show that there is more homelessness (the canary in the mine for a healthy society) in blue, progressive states than in red, conservative states. In states ruled by progressives, homelessness is running rampant.   Late 2013, The Boston Globe reported:

Record numbers of homeless families are overwhelming the state’s emergency shelter system, filling motel rooms at the cost to taxpayers of tens of millions of dollars a year.

“An average of 2,100 families a night — an all-time high — were temporarily housed in motel rooms in October, just about equaling the number of families staying in emergency shelters across the state”, according to state Department of Housing and Economic Development.

The demand for shelter is so great that the state has been temporarily shipping homeless families from Boston to motels in Western Massachusetts…

So much for liberal Massachusetts.  In New York, as New York Magazine reports:

“Here in New York, they found a thirteen-percent increase, for a total of 64,060 people living in shelters and on the street. And in Los Angeles, the homeless population jumped 27 percent, to 53,798.”

The New Yorker brought up The Skinny Socialist’s, aka Barack Obama’s, promise to end chronic and veteran homelessness in America by 2015 and presented a reality check that all the homeless in NYC can’t fit into the seats at Yankee Stadium.

By contrast, Texas, a red state where freedom, low taxes, and restrictions on government intrusion prevail, is the place where people are fleeing from blue states, an exodus like the Israelites fleeing Egypt.

Party affiliation, in places like Levittown, PA, is assigned. Unfortunately, people think that if they are blue collar, they have to vote blue, democrat. They hear the mantra that Democrats have their best interests at heart. Truth is, they don’t. People must not think about issues and policies, but simply act like Pavlov’s Dogs.

During the 1890s, Russian physiologist, Ivan Pavlov was researching salivation in dogs in response to being fed. He inserted a small test tube into the cheek of each dog to measure saliva when the dogs were fed (with a powder made from meat).

Pavlov predicted the dogs would salivate in response to the food placed in front of them, but he noticed that his dogs would begin to salivate whenever they heard the footsteps of his assistant who was bringing them the food.

When Pavlov discovered that any object or event which the dogs learned to associate with food (such as the lab assistant or a bell) would trigger the same response, he realized that he had made an important scientific discovery. Accordingly, he devoted the rest of his career to studying this type of learning.  https://www.simplypsychology.org/pavlov.html

In this upcoming election ask yourself, “am I one of Pavlov’s Dogs, or do I actually think?”
